Lesaca

One of the five villages that make up Bortziriak, which stands out for its architecture, streets, bridges, rivers and fountains. It is surrounded by mountains and crossed by the Onin River.

Lesaca has attracted illustrious figures of the film industry throughout its history: Orson Welles, for example, filmed several scenes of the movie “Chimes at Midnight” here, as did Luis Mariano in “The Cantor of Mexico”. Recently, important movies have also been filmed in Lesakara, such as “El Hijo del Acordeonista”, “El Guardián Invisible” or “Akelarre”.
